High-quality drug production
BERLIN-CHEMIE AG has a long tradition in the manufacture of drugs, and has a highly motivated, very well trained production team. All solid pharmaceutical forms are manufactured at the two production sites in Adlershof and Britz. The production facilities for the manufacture of solids, liquids, suppositories and solutions for infusion and injection were completely modernised between 1990 and 1994, and are absolutely state-of-the-art. This ensures the high-quality and efficient production of drugs. A new facility conforming to the newest standards for the production of solutions for infusion was opened at the Adlershof site in July 2000. In the middle of 2001, a new facility for the manufacture of oral liquids was brought on stream. Approx. 210 staff produce up to 125 million package units per year. These are used to treat diseases in many parts of the world. We are also happy to provide other pharmaceutical companies with our special know-how.
